Clone the part of the business you cannot staff
Outsourcing without the handoff headache
You brief one person. They carry it to whoever does the work and bring it back finished. No chasing, no re-explaining, no bench to manage.
You are not behind. The job just got bigger than one team.
Five to two hundred people, a real business, and a back office that now includes a dozen tools nobody was hired to run. That is the gap we clone into.
Hiring
Recruiting, onboarding, training, benefits, management time — and the role only needed twelve hours a week anyway. A clone is the twelve hours, with none of the rest. $5,475 — average cost to make one non-executive hire, before salary (SHRM 2025 benchmark).
Tech
You can see what the CRM, the ad platforms and the automations could do for you. Nobody has the week it takes to learn them, wire them up and keep them wired. 49% — of paid software licences go unused in the average company (BetterCloud, State of SaaSOps 2025).
Bottlenecks
Invoices wait on you. Posts wait on the one who has the logins. Follow-ups wait on whoever is least busy. We take the step that everything else is queued behind. 36% — of the average owner’s week goes to small admin: invoicing, data entry, chasing (Time etc survey, 2023).
Departments
Admin, sales support, marketing, creative, finance ops, web, content. One flyer or a whole function; a single task or a standing weekly slot. Same concierge either way. 68 / 32 — owners’ split of time working in the business vs on it (The Alternative Board pulse survey).
The idea behind all of it — You started a business to run it. Somewhere along the way it started running you.
A CEO’s job is the bigger picture: where the business is going, what it should stop doing, what it should try next. Most owners never get to that job because the day-to-day one never ends — the inbox, the invoices, the post that should have gone out. The guide we send with the letter calls this the difference between working in the business and working on it. Everything we do exists to give you back the second one.
Reduce the inefficiencies
Find the bottleneck — the task three other things wait on — and consolidate it, reorganise around it, or hand it to someone whose whole job it is.
Automate what repeats
Payment reminders, social scheduling, CRM follow-ups. If it happens the same way every time, a machine should do it and a person should check it.
Keep only what is yours
Your core competency is why customers pay you. Everything else — design, data entry, bookkeeping, content — is somebody’s core competency, and it does not have to be an employee’s.
One of our products · optional — Tjati
Tjati is the workspace we built to run our own back office, and one of the products we offer. Site, forms, contacts, tasks and content in one place, hooked to whatever you already run, so you can see what was requested, who owns it, its status and what changed. It gets a business up in days rather than a quarter of migration — but it is optional. Every service here can be bought without it, and we can work in your own system instead.
Two ways to have it
We run it for you
Included with managed services; never required. You never see the admin unless you want to.
You run it yourself
Take the keys and work in it directly — and hand it back to us any week you would rather not.
A site we built, and still run — What it took
A luxury ground-transport operator with seven service lines, each with its own page, migrated in one pass and kept current since. They took the site and the content lines, and left the rest.
36 sections imported, 100% structured
Seven service lines, each its own page
Editable by the operator from day one
Four ways to work with us
À la carte, all of it. Take one line, several, or the whole back office — and change your mind later without changing who you talk to.
Platform · Tjati
One of our products, and optional. Hooked to whatever you already run; live in days, not quarters. Edit it yourself or hand it back.
What that means →Fixed scope · Site and migration
Move what you have onto Tjati, structured rather than screenshotted, and hand you the keys.
Scope a move →Ongoing · The back office
Dispatch admin, quotes and invoicing, follow-up, CRM hygiene, appointment setting — run by a standing team.
See the lines →Audience · Content and the letter
Posts, social and a weekly letter, written in your voice for your customers — the part of marketing that only works when it is regular.

One person owns your account. You brief them; they carry it to whoever does the work and bring it back finished.
01 · You brief once
A call to hand over context, tools and access. We write it down so you never repeat it.
02 · We staff it
Your concierge pulls the specialists the work needs. You keep talking to one person.
03 · Work comes back
Finished, in your tools, on the cadence you set — daily, weekly, or as it lands.
04 · You adjust
Change the scope, the hours or the shape of the engagement by telling your concierge.
The Dispatch
Many hands make light work. One letter a week on running the back of a business: what to hand off first, what to automate, what to leave alone. Useful whether or not you ever hire us. Free, weekly — the letter costs nothing and always will.
Questions owners actually ask
What is Office Clones?
A U.S.-based company that clones the parts of a business nobody owns — managed back-office support, specialist project work, and a small set of software products. One accountable concierge coordinates whatever mix you take.
Who is it for?
Owners and small teams with a real business, real staff and more tools than time. You can see what the tech could do for you; you cannot keep up with it. Not for a first-time founder with no operation yet.
How does the Client Concierge model work?
One person, by name, owns your account. They document how your work is done, bring in the specialists it needs, and report back. You brief once and never re-explain — even when the person doing the work changes.
Can I use one service, or do I need a package?
One service. One task, even. Nothing is bundled to pad an invoice, and adding or dropping a line is a sentence to your concierge, not a new contract.
How is pricing structured?
By dose — one-off, by the task, hourly, part-time, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly — and quoted after one call. We publish no fixed number, minimum or lock-in until there is exactly one, because a reader can hold us to it.
How is this different from Upwork or Fiverr?
On a marketplace you find, evaluate and manage each worker, and the knowledge leaves when they do. Here the procedure is written down once and executed by whoever is on it; the concierge carries the accountability, the continuity and the single invoice.
Why not just hire another employee?
A hire is forty hours plus recruiting, onboarding, benefits and management — for a need that may be twelve hours a week. A clone is the twelve hours. When the need changes, the dose changes; there is nothing to let go.
Do your specialists work inside our existing tools?
Yes. We work in what you already pay for and can help document or improve the process while we are in there. We recommend better tools when we see them; we do not require you to change.
Is Tjati required?
No. Tjati is one Office Clones product — the workspace we built to run our own back office and where we offer to run yours, so you can see what was requested, who owns it, its status and what changed. You can buy services without it, and we can work in your own project or reporting system instead.
Who owns the work, the data and the automations?
You do — the site, the files, the source, the workflows and the configurations built for you. At handoff you get credentials, documentation and exports. Draft policy language on retention and deletion is being verified before it is published here.
Do you use AI, and will I know when?
Some work is AI-assisted, a person reviews it before it reaches you, and you can prohibit it on your account. Exact disclosure rules and the statement on training are being verified against practice before they are published — until then we say less, not more.
What happens when I cancel?
An orderly handoff: your data, completed work, documentation and available exports, with access removed on an agreed schedule. You can also reduce or drop one service without ending the relationship. Notice periods and fees are published only once they are settled.
See how the model works before anyone sells you anything
Three ideas, the ladder people actually climb, and what an engagement looks like from the inside. Then the numbers. Then, if you like, one task.
